AGM(s) 2023 – for reference

Thanks to everyone who was able to attend our Annual General Meetings this year. If you have any feedback or suggestions for next year, we’d love to hear from you.

We’ll keep the information below here for reference.

This year, we’ll be organising four Annual General Meetings across all four campuses during the week beginning 6th March 2023. Each meeting will be hybrid, so you can chose which meeting to attend and whether to go in person or attend on-line.

City Campus        12 noon/12.30pm, Monday 6th March           Grand Parade 204

Falmer                  12 noon/12.30pm, Tuesday 7th March           Checkland E423

Moulsecoomb     12 noon/12.30pm, Wednesday 8th March    Mithras House G4

Eastbourne          12 noon/12.30pm, Friday 10th March            Aldro Building 112

We’re always very pleased with the turnout, but with these being our first all-members’ physical meetings since March 2020, we want to make them the best ever. We’d also like you to attend in person if you can, but on-line if you can’t. If you come in person, we’ll have a free buffet lunch available from midday and we’ll start the meeting at 12.30pm.

Our AGM is your chance to ask what we’ve been doing and what we plan to do into the future. We’ll talk about our ongoing pay campaign, work-related stress, reorganisations, the University’s future, and anything else our members want to talk about.

Managers are aware that all our members are entitled to attend the AGM in work time, provided you give your manager sufficient notice, especially if they need to arrange cover.

Please let us know you’re coming, by filling in the form here:
